Margie Granger

BASILE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Margie Granger announces her passing in the comfort of her home on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the age of 92.  A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Basile with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Oberlin with Father Jerish George officiating.

Margie was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her especially her loving three children; Janice Fruge Leitko and husband, Michael of Greenville, SC, Clifford Fruge and wife, Joan of Soileau and Jerry Neil Granger and wife, Shannan of Madisonville; her two brothers, Larson LeBlanc and wife, Gail of Mermentau and Lee Jean LeBlanc of Baton Rouge; her sister, Earline Young of Carlyss and the joys of her life her six grandchildren, Jessica Fields, Travis Leitko, Jeff Fruge, Megan Daigle, Rachel Granger and Katelyn Granger; nine great grandchildren as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Granger; her parents, Esteus and Eva Ranguette LeBlanc.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Basile on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 12:30 pm on Friday.
