EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marie E. Miller Courville announces her passing on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the Veranda House in Sealy, TX at the age of 90. Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 9:00 am until 12:00pm, followed by a Graveside Service at 12:30 pm at the Courville Cemetery in Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Marie of Sealy, TX entered into heavenly rest December 11, 2022, at 9:40 am. Marie was born in Chataignier, La on April 21, 1932, to her parents Lezime and Armance Thibodeaux Miller and she grew up in Basile, LA. She is survived by her five children, Helen Touchet and husband, Richard of Katy, TX, Gloria Schmidt and husband, John Sr. of Houston, TX, Elizabeth Duhon and husband, Ricky of Basile, Jane Ehlert and husband, Kevin of Sealy, TX, and Martin Courville and wife, Marian of Katy, TX; brother, James Miller and wife, Judy of Jennings; sister, Julie Miller Doucet of Sulphur; twelve grandchildren, Tina and husband, Scott, Kristi, John Jr. and wife, Veronica, Tonya and husband, Bubba, Cheyenne, Blake and husband, David, Courtney and husband, Russell, Nick and wife, Shelby, Melissa and partner, Barron, Charles and partner, Sami, Wesley and wife, Crystal, Nicole Taylor and partner, Dillon; eighteen great grandchildren and five step-grandchildren, Laney, Jenna, Evangeline, Kenyon, Alli, Chase, Rheagan, Rainie Belle and husband, Kaden, Walter, Rhys, Remington, Micah, Charlie Mae, Easton, Damon, Eric, Lauren, Chloe, Arianna, Kadence, Kylie, Wyatt, Blake; and one spoiled 4-legged grandbaby, Fred; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charley Courville; son, Charles Joseph Courville; and parents, Lezime and Armance Miller.
