Mary Guillory

EUNICE~ With heavy hearts the family of Mary Alice Guillory announces her passing on Monday, June 27, 2022, in the comfort of her home with loving family by her side at the age of 84. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Corey Elkins, officiating.

Mary was born on August 25, 1937, in Eunice to Willie and Aline Darbonne Smith. She worked at Moosa Memorial Hospital and daycare and was a big Saints fan. She loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  Mary will be forever remembered by her husband of sixty eight years, Harry Guillory of Eunice;  three children, Debbie Simon, Myra Johnson, and Shane Guillory and wife, Kimberly all of Eunice; her precious grandchildren, Rusty Simon, Toby Simon, Jesse Simon and wife, Jeana, Brady Guillory and wife, Rachelle, Charissa Guillory, Brittany Vidrine and husband, Stan, Bailey Johnson, Tabitha Green and husband, Shaun, Nikkolette Littleton and husband, Joshua, Kyelyn Hebert, Amy Guillory, Gwendolyn White, Taylor Hanks and Camryn Guillory; twenty two great grandchildren and fifteen great great grandchildren as well as extended family and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, Harry Shawn Guillory; parents; siblings, Calvin Smith, Dorothy Troha, Burkman Smith, Ruby Young and Patsy Guillory.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, June 28th from 8:30 am until time of services.
