Mary Theriot

December 27, 1944 — March 3, 2022

EUNICE~ Surrounded by family, our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend passed away in the comfort of her home at the age of 77. A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, March 11, 2022, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Hampton Davis, Celebrant.

She was born on December 27, 1944, in Opelousas to Leon and Therese Chautin Lalonde. Mary Ann and Jude had fifty-eight years of memories together enjoying five grandkids and two great grandsons. They were Eucharistic ministers and chaperons for St. Anthony Youth Group. Mary Ann had a passion for cooking and spoiling her grandkids and great grandkids. She was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart and was always worried about taking care of everyone and their friends. At times she fed the football team and coaches. She was often seen at the ballfield watching her grandchildren play football, baseball, soft ball, volleyball or other school functions. She will always be in our hearts. It’s hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving husband of fifty-eight wonderful years, Jude B. Theriot of Eunice; two daughters, Tracie Theriot of Eunice and Nikki Darbonne and husband, Kevin of Richard; sister, Yvonne Perkins and husband, Ray of Opelousas; the five joys of her life her grandchildren, Joshua LeJeune and wife, Amber,  Tyler Darbonne, Dylan Darbonne, Hayden Darbonne and Brooklyn Darbonne; two great grandchildren, Dax and Daniel LeJeune; as well as extended family and many dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Betty Kidder and husband, Leonard, and a grandson Nicholas Theriot.
