EUNICEIt is with great sadness that the family of Mary Lou S. Vidrine announces her passing on Friday, January 17, 2013 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 80. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, January 20, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Msgr. Robert Romero Celebrant.

Mary was a homemaker and devoted herself to the love and care of her family. She had a compassion for cats and loved to sew and garden. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society at the Church of Annunciation in Duralde, LA and also served as a Eucharist minister for her community. She will be greatly missed by all, especially her loving daughters, Donna M. Thibodeaux and companion, Aaron M. Daigle of Eunice, and Tina V. Fontenot of Eunice five grandchildren, Renota M. Lowther, Chase Larson, Tisha Cheree Fontenot, Holly Lynn Aucoin and Justin Lee James Fontenot and eight greatgrandchildren, Ashlyn, Seth and Gage Thibodeaux, Baileigh, Leah and Blake Deshotels, Layten Carter and Jessie Aucoin.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Harold J. Vidrine parents, Ferdinand and Coralie LaFleur Soileau brothers, Edmond and Aswell Soileau and sisters, Octavia Berzas, Verna Delafosse, and Luna Soileau.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, January 19th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, January 20th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 7:30 pm Sunday evening.
