Mitchell Anthony Frey

Mitchell Anthony Frey, age 65, of Eunice, Louisiana, passed away on May 1, 2026. There will be a Wake to honor Mitchell's life at Ardoin's Funeral Home on Saturday, May 9, 2026, starting at 8 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 1 PM.

Born on September 4, 1960, in Eunice, Mitchell was the beloved son of the late Lillian Fruge Frey and Daniel Joseph Frey, both born in Louisiana. He spent his life rooted in his hometown, where he built strong family bonds and a lasting connection to his community.

Mitchell pursued his education through trade school and some college, carrying those skills into a life marked by dedication, hard work, and a love for hands-on projects. He found great joy in working alongside his brothers, creating and fixing things together—moments that reflected both his craftsmanship and his deep devotion to family.

A faithful and active member of Word of Life Deliverance Center, Mitchell’s faith was a guiding force in his life. He was known for his commitment to his church and his genuine care for others. Above all, Mitchell took pride in being the best brother and uncle he could be, always present, supportive, and loving.

He is survived by his brothers, Michael Frey and David T. Frey; his niece, Danielle Frey; his nephew, Wesley Frey; his niece-in-law, Hyemin Lee; and his great-nephew, David D. Frey. He leaves behind a family who will cherish his memory and carry forward his legacy of kindness, faith, and devotion.

Mitchell will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Patricia McNary Frey Mathews, Blane Frey, Pastor Mike Guillory, Randy Topher, Uncle Bob, Tee Joseph Johnson and Wiley Franklin for their support, kindness, and presence during this time.
