EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Nat Godeaux announces his passing on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his home at the age of 85. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Tim Moffett officiating.
Nat was retired and loved gardening and cooking, but most importantly he was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his wife of 64 years, Rose Godeaux of Eunice; his five daughters, Norma Joubert and husband, Ray of Eunice, Pat Hagius and husband, Tommy of Iota, Gale Godeaux of Greenville, MS, Veronica Melancon and husband, Dr. Patrick Melancon of Chiang Mai, Thailand and Jackie Smith and husband, Dr. Chet Smith of Covington; two sisters, Earline Darbonne of Gonzales and Mary LeBleu of Lafayette; the joys of his life his twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Perrin and Adela Ardoin Godeaux.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, November 13th from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, November 14th from 8:00 am until time of services.
