EUNICE~It is with great sadness that the family of Nelrine "Nellie" Sonnier announce her passing on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Eunice Manor at the age of 85. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.

Nelrine known as "Nellie" was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She will be loved and missed dearly by all who loved her especially her son, James Ray Sonnier of Sulphur; one brother, Ricky LaCombe and wife, Chris of Phoenix, AZ. She was blessed with five grandchildren, David Andrepont, Aleisha Andrepont, Ginger Little, Kevin Sonnier and Julie Andrepont and eleven great grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Mable Faye Andrepont; grandson, Steven Andrepont; husband, C.J. Sonnier; parents, Andy and Bertile Dupre LaCombe; siblings, A. J. LaCombe, JoAnn Fontenot, Lela Rae Courville and Wilbert LaCombe.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, August 24th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, August 25th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Monday evening.
