EUNICE~It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Nettie Ann Leger on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital with loving family by her side. She was 81. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.

Nettie and her family were the owners of Leger's Grocery Store for twenty eight years. She loved fishing, sewing, canning, gardening and especially dancing. Spending time with her family brought joy to her life. She was loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her especially her daughter Debbie Dayton and husband, Bob of Lake Charles; brother, Wilton Royer of Carlyss; her four joys of her life, Travis Bertrand, Brad Leger, Holly Romero and Heather Allen; nine great grandchildren, Gavin and Kaiydence Bertrand, Reid, Colton and Jax Leger, Owen Dayton, Colton Allen, Wyatt and Henry Romero; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Leger; son, Michael Leger; daughter, Kathie Leger; two sisters, Verna Mae Perry and Enella Doucet.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Saturday.
