EUNICE- It is with heavy hearts that the family of Nick Anderson Bischoff announces his passing on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the age of 53. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.

Nick Anderson Bischoff was born on March 23, 1973, in Eunice, Louisiana, to the late Frederick Bischoff Sr. and Bessie Johnson Bischoff. Nick was a very kind person who grew up on the farm, alongside his siblings. He was a dedicated farm hand who was always willing to help and could often be found in the shop building crawfish traps. His talents also included him being a craftsman building furniture, an artist who enjoyed drawing, a taxidermist assistant at Buckhorn Taxidermy in Mowata, and a musician who loved playing guitar, often sharing musical moments with his brother-in-law. He also loved to crawfish, especially with his dog, Cloudy, and was always the one at the boiling pot. Nick’s past times also include hunting and fishing, often visiting the Atchafalaya Basin.

Nick will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his siblings, Frederick “Socco” Louis Bischoff II and wife, Tina of Eunice and Jackie Bischoff Pitre and husband, Mitchel “Beaver” of Huffman, TX; his nephew, Drody Paul Pitre of Huffman, TX; as well as extended family, especially his close cousin born one day apart, Brian Hammond of Lake Charles, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 9:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will pray a rosary at 12:00 pm on Wednesday.
