Pamela Fontenot

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Pamela Marie Fontenot on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Born on August 06, 1971, Pamela was a cherished daughter to Donald Louis and Mary Bonnie-Dale Fontenot.

 A Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Inurnment will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Father Keenan Brown, Celebrant. 
 
 Her loving and compassionate nature left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She was a beacon of warmth and generosity, traits that endeared her endlessly to her family.
 
She leaves behind her husband, Jason Fontenot of Pine Prairie;  three children: Tiffany Johnson and husband, Taylor of Basile, Brandon Boutte of Pine Prairie, and Kristen Johnson and husband,  Crockett of DeRidder. and her three stepchildren: Jason Fontenot, Jr. and wife, Katelyn of Ville Platte, Daniel Fontenot and wife, Morgan of St. Landry, and Angel Bordelon and husband, Shane of Beaver. She was loved very much by her family and will be missed dearly. 
 
In the embrace of Pamela's love were also her two brothers: Kelly Fontenot and wife, Tammy of Reddell and Mark Fontenot and wife, Wendy of Ville Platte. Her greatest joys were found in the laughter and playfulness of her grandchildren: Valerie, Caroline, Natalie, and Wes Johnson; Saria Boutte; Gabrielle, Gunner, Kinsley, and Bennett Fontenot; Rylen, Layla, and Kolten Bordelon.
 
Pamela's affection extended not only to her family but also to her beloved dogs: Duke, Daisy, Bella, and Beau. Their loyal companionship brought her immense joy.
 
She now rests with her parents in peace.
