EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts that the family announce the loss of their loved one, Paul B.L. Miller at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice on the evening of Saturday, February 08, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was 94. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 on Monday, February 10, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Msgr. Robert Romero Celebrant.

Paul, or B.L. as he was affectionately called by family and friends served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a retired carpenter as well as a lifetime member of the VFW and a Honary life member of the American Legion. His hobbies were gardening, raising animals, fishing, hunting and woodwork but most of all he was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be missed dearly. He was a beloved father to one son, Herman Miller and wife, Juanita a daughter, Judy Reed four step sons, Harry Begnaud and wife, Elaine, Harold Begnaud and wife, Vickie, Keith Begnaud and wife, Alicia, Mark Begnaud and wife, Jelaine and a stepdaughter, Bobbie Fontenot and husband, Dean all of Eunice a dear brother to Burley Miller of Grand Junction, CO and Freddie Miller of Rayne. He was a wonderful and loving grandfather to twenty two grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved parents, Theobert and Odilia Ortego Miller wife, Viola Bazinet Miller two sons, Ronald and Olan Miller grandson, Mitch Reed two brothers, Ervin and Egbert Miller three sisters, Edith Cart, Odile Smith and Dolice Chapman.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, February 9th from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, February 10th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Sunday evening.
