BASILE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rachelle Langley announces her passing on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria at the age of 45. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Rite of committal will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Father David Hebert Celebrant.

A loving daughter, mother, sister and friend, Rachelle will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her, especially her parents, Jerry Dale and Gloria Langley of Basile; son, Chance Langley of Basile; daughters, Ryan Paige Langley, Madison Langley and Haidee Chaumont, all of Basile; brothers, Brad Langley and Brent Langley, both of Basile; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dewey and Laura Darbonne; and paternal grandparents, Clyde and Stella Langley.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile on Wednesday, May 17th from 5:30 pm until 10:00 pm, and again on Thursday, May 18th from 7:00 am until time of services. Father David Hebert will recite at rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
