Randy Courville

Randy Courville, a devoted Air Force veteran, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at the Carpenter House, surrounded by loved ones. Born on November 20, 1956, in Eunice, Louisiana, Randy was a proud son of Selme and Leloa Courville, who predeceased him, along with his brother, Russel Courville, and sister Kathleen Courville Bergeron.

Randy’s life was marked by a steadfast commitment to service and family. He honorably served in the United States Air Force for over a decade, after which he dedicated more than ten years to working at Veterans Affairs as a police officer. His commitment to the safety and well-being of veterans was a testament to his respected character and sense of duty.

Among Randy’s proudest accomplishments was the care and support he provided to his sister during her long terminal illness, demonstrating his profound compassion and loyalty. He leaves behind cherished memories and a lasting legacy of kindness and resilience.

He is survived by his brother Robert Courville and wife Sharon of Lafayette, his nephew and godchild Chris Lewis Courville and wife Brandi of Illinois, as well as numerous cousins and extended family who continue to hold him in their hearts.

Visitation for Randy will take place on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with a rosary being prayed at 2:30 PM and services to follow at Ardoin's Funeral Home chapel with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.

Randy Courville's life was a beacon of dedication to country and family alike, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him. His contributions and spirit will remain a guiding light for those he leaves behind.
