EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Renee Duplechain announces her passing on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Lafayette General at the age of 57. Funeral Services will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Matthew Hebert officiating.

Renee was active in the Eunice Players Theater, always helping and assisting in every aspect. She loved to go camping, traveling, and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, but most of all she was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her husband of 42 years, Marcus Duplechain of Eunice; her mother, Mary Elaine Barzare of Eunice; daughters, Brandi D. Daigle and husband, Brad of Eunice and Jennifer D. Sonnier and husband, Corey of Basile; brother, Joseph D. Veillon, II and wife, Marlow of Eunice; sisters, Rechelle V. Guillory and Ramona V. Bellard and husband, Billy, all of Lafayette; six grandchildren, Ethan and Andrew Daigle, Kaylyn and Trae Arnaud, and Lakeyn and John Hayden Sonnier; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Drayo Veillon, II.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, January 29th from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, January 30th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Tuesday by Deacon Chuck Ortego.

An account has been opened at Pedestal Bank in Eunice for anyone who would like to make a monetary donation to assist with the payment of medical bills and funeral expenses for Renee Veillon Duplechain. Checks can be made out to her daughter, Brandilyn Daigle. Please write on the memo line "Deposit for account ending in 25". Checks can also be mailed directly to Pedestal Bank, 301 W.
