Reynold Patrick Vidrine

     With heavy hearts the family of Reynold Patrick Vidrine, known as "Pat," announces his passing on February 09, 2024, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans at the age of 75. A Chapel Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Thomas More Cemetery.

     Pat was a devoted family man and a hardworking individual who brought joy to those around him. Born on March 3, 1948, to Numa Lee and Marie Odile Hidalgo Vidrine, Pat carried their values of love and integrity throughout his life. He was the owner and operator of Pat Vidrine Building Contractor, where he dedicated himself to residential and commercial construction. Alongside his professional accomplishments, Pat had a passion for caring for livestock chickens, pigs and tending to his garden.  He cherished spending time outside in his fields, bailing hay and finding solace in nature.

  But beyond his work and hobbies, Pat's true happiness came from being a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend. His sons meant the world to him; Reynold Patrick Vidrine Jr., residing in Eunice, and Ryan Vidrine and wife Angelle of Lafayette were a constant source of pride and joy for him. In addition to his sons, he leaves behind brothers Malcolm Vidrine and wife, Gail of Eunice, Kenneth Paul Vidrine and wife, Joan of Duralde, Blake Vidrine and wife, Adrienne of Crowley and Blaine Vidrine and wife, Debbie of Chataignier. Pat held a special place in his heart for his two precious grandchildren, Christian and Annelise Vidrine.

    Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Numa Lee and Marie Odile Hidalgo Vidrine, as well as his beloved wife, Elsie Granger Vidrine. Though our hearts ache for their loss, we find comfort knowing that they are now reunited in eternity.

     At the request of the family, a visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, February 15th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Friday, February 16th from 8:00 am until the time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Thursday to honor Pat's memory led by David Guillory.
