Rita Granger

EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rita Fontenot Granger announces her passing on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Maison De Lafayette at the age of 69. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Cemetery officiated by Fr. Matthew Hebert.

Rita was a graduate of Eunice High School and she attended USL and LSUE.  In her spare time she liked to paint.  A loving mother, sister and friend, Rita will be missed  by her children, Travis Fontenot of Eunice; Kelly Fontenot of Lafayette and Tracy Fontenot of Iota; brothers, Brent Fontenot and wife, Brenda of Cecelia and Phil Fontenot of Eunice; sister, Janel F. Johnson and husband, Jay of Lafayette; as well as extended family and friends.

Rita is preceded in death by her son, Kary Fontenot, and her parents, Enell and Winnie Lou Fuselier Fontenot.
