EUNICE~It is with great sadness that the family of Rosa Mae Bertrand announces her passing on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 80. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Rosa was a manager for over twenty years at LaPlace Cleaners. She was an avid Saints fan and loved outdoors and sitting by a fire. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her four children, James Bertrand and his significant other, Linda Driscoll of Hattiesburg, MS, Kim Bertrand and Hubert Bertrand both of Eunice, and Danny Bertrand and wife, Kelly of Hensley, AR; five brothers, Raymond Menier and wife, Joanie of Ocala, FL, Herbert Menier of Eunice, Shelton Menier of Walker, Robert Menier of Church Point and Chester Menier of Eunice: one sister, Dorothy Vidrine and husband, Neldon of Pierre Part; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, Troy Bertrand and her parents, Hubert and Elta Prudhomme Menier.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 9:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recited a Rosary at 2:00 pm on Thursday.
