EUNICE-Funeral services will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice on December 05, 2007 at 11:00 am for Ross David, 87, who passed away on Sunday, December 02, 2007 at his home. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum in Eunice.

Mr. David was a Veteran of World War II having served in the United States Navy achieving the Rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was a local business owner, owning and operating the Ideal Lawn Mower Shop in Eunice from 1945 until 1985. A Family man who loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Loving Father, Brother, Paw-Paw, and Great-Grandfather, Mr. David is survived by his daughter, Rosslyn D. Moore of Crowley; a brother, Donald David of Eunice; grandchildren, Lisa M. Delhomme and husband, Nathan, Lana M. Benoit and husband, Jonathan; great grandsons, Jon Ross Schitoskey, Owen Joseph Delhomme.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy T. David; parents, Fernest and Erita Guillory David; son-in-law, Cecil L. Moore; brother, John David; sister, Joyce David; grandchild, Lori D. Moore.
The family request that visitation hours be observed on Tuesday, December 04, 2007 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 12 noon until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, December 05, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services.
