Rufus Miller, Jr.

IOTAIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Rufus P. Miller, Jr. announces his passing on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at University Medical Center in Lafayette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery with Father Mikel Polson officiating.

A beloved husband, loving son, devoted father, brother, and friend, Rufus is survived by his wife of 27 years, Amy Courville Miller of Iota mother, Rose Miller of Iota daughter, RayChelle Paige Miller of Iota four brothers, Charles Miller PhD and wife, Monica of Iota, Michael Miller and wife, Zena of Rayne, Ernest Miller and Marcus Miller, both of Iota two sisters, Mary Ann Janise and husband, Michael of Jennings, and Marietta Taylor and husband, David of Iota.

Now Rufus rests in heaven with his beloved father, Rufus Paul Miller, Sr.
