Selina C. Lejeune

EUNICE-It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Selina LeJeune announces her passing on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Nick Ware officiating.
Selina was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers, cutting grass and gardening. As well as sewing, housekeeping and decorating for Christmas. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed dearly by her loving children, Steven LeJeune of Duralde, Elaine L. Deville of Basile, and Daniel LeJeune and  wife, Sheila of Duralde; nine grandchildren, Nicole LeJeune and Toby, Kelly LeJeune, Kirsten LeJeune Owen and husband, Jared, Benjamin LeJeune, Joshua LeJeune and wife, Leila, Jordy LeJeune and wife Ashley, Denae Deville Abbott and husband, Carl, Olivia L. Smith and husband, Blaine, and Mackenzie LeJeune; and twenty-eight great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren, and her fur baby, Rich.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Orvin LeJeune; parents, Andaul and Azelie Babineaux Crochet; siblings, Elizabeth Touchet, Luna Lantz, Luma Guillot, Elta Duhon, Lester Crochet and Jessie Crochet.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, November 27th from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Monday, November 28th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Chuck Ortego will pray a Rosary at 6:00 pm Sunday.
