Sue Johnson

     EUNICE~It is with great sadness that the family of Sue Johnson announces her passing on Sunday, October 08, 2023 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou at the age of 80.

    Born on June 05, 1943, Sue was welcomed into the world by her parents John and Melva Guillory. She was a remarkable individual who deeply touched the lives of all who had the privilege to know her. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Sue's presence brought warmth and love to those around her.

    Sue will be deeply missed by her loving children Rhonda Cole and Nolan Johnson of Oakdale. Her kind-hearted nature and unwavering support were cherished by her family. She was a source of strength and guidance throughout their lives.

    She will also be dearly remembered by her sisters Helen Ross and Donna Patureau along with her husband Mike, all of Morgan City. The bond between them was unbreakable, and their shared memories will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

    Sue leaves behind two adoring grandchildren Shane Mayo and Kyla Beasely as well as two great-grandchildren Cole and Conner Beasley. Her legacy lives on through them, and they will continue to carry her love and spirit with them always.

    Sue is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cephas Johnson, her parents John and Melva Guillory, her brother Harrell "Buddy" Wilson, and her sister Lynn Oubre. Though they have passed on, their memory will forever remain alive within the hearts of those who loved them.

    A Graveside service for Sue will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Reed Cemetery in Oberlin. It will be a time for family and friends to honor Sue's life and find solace in coming together during this difficult time.
