IOTA-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday, July 27, 2007, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota for Timothy John Rachel, 45, with interment to follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Rachel was a native of the Iota area, passed away this past weekend in El Dorado, Arkansas where he was employed as a computer programmer working on a software package for Murphy Oil Company.

A loving Brother and Uncle, Mr. Rachel is survived by his brother, Richard Rachel of Orange, Texas; four nephews and five nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph L. and Julia Klumpp Rachel; a sister, Brenda Rachel Pickett.
The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home of Iota on Thursday, July 26, 2007 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, July 27, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services.
