The Lord gained a beautiful angel on September 17, 2026. Tonia D. Stevenson passed in her home that she shared with her life partner, Francis F. Landreneau, in Eunice, Louisiana.

She was survived by her children, Sebrena S. (Brad) Pearson of North Carolina, Stephanie L. (Woody) Woodworth of Alabama, and Sherry L. Stevenson of Louisiana; her grandchildren, Samantha D. Woodworth, Bryan S. Dirscherl, Monica D. Stevenson, Katrina M. Dantism, Joshua M. Stevenson, Robert J. Woodworth, Mary E. Woodworth, Danyelle C. Broussard, David T. Pearson, and Abigail F. Pearson as well as many great grandchildren; and her former spouse, Robert M. Stevenson of Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter B. and Martha R. Holmes; her sister, Betty Tatman; and one grandson, James C. Woodworth Jr.

Many will remember sitting at her table for a laughter-filled meal, playing a game of cards, and admiring the quilts she made with love.

At the request of the family, A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice with Deacon Justin Lemmons, officiating.
