Willard "Squealer" Miller

IOTA~ It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Willard Miller on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 74 years old. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Iota with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.

       Willard, known as “Squealer” by all, was born on January 24, 1949, in Iota, La to Leo Paul and Beatrice Benoit Miller, who preceded him in death. He loved visiting family and riding around in his truck listening to music. He definitely enjoyed life to the fullest. Willard will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his siblings, Wilbert Miller of Sulphur, Leo Paul “Hap” Miller, Jr. of Iota, Gus Miller of Iota, Jesner Miller of Crowley, Irene Henry of Iota, Edna Horner of Arkansas, and Yvonne Leger of Sulphur; as well as extended family and friends.

      He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Russell Miller, Joseph “Rod” Miller, Sr., Mary Hilda Miller, and Mary Deville Dietz.

      At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Iota on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 2:00 pm until time of services.
