EUNICE~It is with great sadness that the family of Woodrow "Woody" Reed announces his passing on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Savoy Care Center at the age of 73. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating.

Woodrow or "Woody" as he was called by family and friends loved raising chickens, gardening and farm animals. But most of all, he loved his family especially his two sisters, Eura Marks of Arnaudville and Mary Manuel of Chataignier; his nephews, Tony Manuel of Chataignier and Danny Manuel of Ville Platte; his nieces, Jodi Doucet and Kelli Guibeau both of Lafayette as well as three grandnieces and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wedison and Marie Duplechain Reed; two brother-in-laws, Elbee Manuel and Eddie Marks.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Eunice on Saturday, April 23rd from 9:30 am until time of services.
