EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Andy “James” LaCombe, III, announces his passing on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Opelousas General Hospital at the age of 58. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 25, 2022, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Father Ware, Celebrant.
Andy, known as ‘James’ by all, loved hunting, fishing and cutting his grass. He was also an avid LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints fan. Most of all he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies. James will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him especially his wife of forty-one years, Phyllis Diaville LaCombe of Lan’se Meg; his son, Cody J. LaCombe and wife, Stacy of Eunice; his daughter, Taylor L. Deranger and husband, Michael of Eunice; brothers, Keefen LaCombe and wife, Vanessa, and Tim LaCombe and wife, Chris, all of Eunice; grandchildren, Bracy, Brayston, Bretton, Wyatt, Reid, Brooks, and Laurel; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andy James LaCombe, Jr. and Cherry Naquin LaCombe.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, July 24th from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm, and again on Monday, July 25th from 8:00 am until time of services. Father Ware will pray a Rosary Sunday evening at 6:00 pm.
