Annie Veillon

EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Annie Lou Reed Veillon announces her passing on Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. She was 91.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with burial following in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Lou, enjoyed visiting with her friends and neighbors. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her four children, Patricia A. Soileau and husband, Keith of Duralde, Susan Veillon of Baton Rouge, Lois V. Thevis of Crowley and Kurt Veillon of Washington; three grandchildren, Kate E. Romero, Amy M. Thevis and Cooper Veillon; four great grandchildren, Logan Thevis, Colt Romero, Kennedi Romero and Amelia Sonnier.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Veillon; her sister, Rose Ardoin and her brother, Rov Reed.
