EUNICE~Our hearts are filled with sorrow as we announce the unexpected passing of Charles “Charlie” Guillory, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was 56. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Richard. Burial will follow in the Courville Cemetery with Father Wayne Duet, Celebrant.

Charlie was the owner of Charlie’s Tire and Auto Sales for 33 years. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, antique cars, his horse, fishing, and car auctions. He loved his life, always smiling, and absolutely worked hard and played hard. He was committed to working out and his workout social club and was eight years cancer free. Charlie’s memory will live on in all who knew him, especially his wife of 36 years, Tammy Guillory of Eunice; children, Shenea Edwards and husband, Dusty, and Dustin Guillory and companion, Robin, all of Eunice; his four grandchildren, Rayann and Lakelyn Edwards, and Lawsen and Carsen Guillory; as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Vergie Timmons Guillory; and brother, Larry Guillory.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, September 9th from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, September 10th from 8:00 am until 2:30 pm. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday.
