EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Cullen Paul McGee announces his passing on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Acadia Extended Care Hospital in Crowley. He was 63. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2020  at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.

Cullen proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He had over thirty years in the oilfield as a production manager. He enjoyed camping and he had a great sense of humor. A proud, caring man, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his loving wife of thirty three years, Janice Fontenot McGee of Eunice; his two sons, Damien Scott McGee and fiancé, Johanna Rogers of Iota and Christopher Lee Fontenot and wife, Angela of Eunice; two daughters, Tiffany Dawn McGee of Florida and Amanda Nicole Fontenot of Eunice; two brothers, Darwin McGee and wife, Robin of Arizona and Kevin McGee and wife, Beverly of Eunice; one sister, Yvonne Doucet and husband, Dwayne of Evangeline; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Burley and Agnes Chaumont McGee; great grandchild, Henry Brown and a brother, Stephen Mcgee.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, February 18th from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, February 19th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary Tuesday at 6:00 pm.
