David King

EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of David, our loving and devoted fiancé, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend to all whose lives he touched, on December 06, 2019. He was 55. A memorial service to honor the life and memory of David Troy King will be announced at a later date.

David proudly served his country in the United States Navy. In his younger days he liked body building and hunting.  He was an entrepreneur who loved working on cars and houses.  His quote: "Jack of all trades, Master of None".

He will be sadly missed but never forgotten by his fiancé, Victoria Smith of Eunice; his proudest achievements were his children, Brandon Michael King and wife, Tabatha of Harpers Ferry, W.V., Danielle Elaine King of New Iberia and Devin Rene' King of St. Martinville; two step children, Brittany Smith of Eunice and Brett Smith of Georgia; his mother, Mariana King of Carencro; his two sisters, Penny King of Concord , N.C. and Rachel King Smith and husband, Bo of Duson; his six grandchildren, Jackson, Gunner, Briedyn, Zoey, Ava and Knox as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father James Albert King.
