Ellen Medlin

EUNICE~It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Ellen B. Medlin announces her passing on Monday, February 14, 2022, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 74.  A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Pastor Chris Frye, officiating.

Ellen was born in Eunice on August 24, 1947, to Doris and Juanita Vidrine Bazinet. She retired from LeJeune Chiropractic. She enjoyed crafting, working in her yard, shopping, traveling, Elvis and riding her side by side, but most of all she had a deep love for her family and cherished the time they would spend together.  Ellen was a dedicated mother and loved her role as a grandmother. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her four children, Sammy “Tut” Medlin and wife, Angie, Nikki May and husband, Eric and Amber Arnaud and husband, Benny all of Eunice and Ashley Gaspard and husband, Dion of Keithville and sister, Sandy B. Fuselier of Eunice. The eight joys of her life, her grandchildren, Gabriel Young, Alex Thibodeaux, Dylan Medlin, Logan May, Conner Arnaud, Emma Medlin, Tanner Arnaud and Addie May; and her eight great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Gunner, Kolston, Koy, Elle’Mae, Sterling and Dylan Ty.; as well as extended family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Medlin and her parents.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, February 15th from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Wednesday, February 16th from 8:00 am until time of services. David Guillory will pray a Rosary at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.
