Jason Bertrand

EUNICE~On Saturday, November 07, 2020, Jason Shane Bertrand, loving son, father of three children , brother and friend left us unexpectedly at the age of 44. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:30 am  on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Bertrand Cemetery with Brother Gordon officiating.

Jason was born on April 30, 1976 in Jennings to Hillard Allen Bertrand and Claire Ann Mosbroker. He proudly served his country in the United State Marine Corp and was a bail bondsman and bounty hunter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping and spending his free time with his family especially his three boys. He was a  selfless, hardworking, loyal and humble man.  He treasured his boys and embraced every moment with them.  Jason will be truly missed by all the lives he has touched.

He will be sadly missed but joyfully remembered by his three loving sons,  Drason Share Bertrand, Mason Shane Bertrand and Grason Shane Bertrand all of Eunice; his stepfather, Johnny Maitrejean of Eunice; his stepmother, Pat Bertrand of Jennings; his sister Kaitlyn Elizabeth Bertrand of Jennings; and soon to be grandson, Levi Allen Bertrand;  and other loving relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Hillard “Slim” Bertrand and his mother, Claire M. Maitrejean.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, November 11th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday, November 12th from 8:00 am until time of services.
