Joey Chapman

EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joey Chapman announces his passing on Friday, April 17, 2020 at the Lafayette General Medical Center at the age of 49. A Graveside Service will be held at 3:30 pm on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Mowata with Father Hampton Davis Celebrant.

Joey enjoyed playing golf, hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband, son, father, brother, grandfather and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him especially his wife of fifteen years, Sarah Zaunbrecher Chapman of Eunice; father, Joe Chapman of Eunice; son, Drake Chapman of Eunice; daughters, Skylie Chapman, Sarah Chapman and fiancé, Lane Fontenot, and Anna Chapman, all of Eunice; brother, Brian Chapman and wife, Roxanne of Eunice; sisters, Cindy  Fontenot and husband, Craig, Jessica Frey, Angela Fontenot and husband, Farrel, Mona Fruge, and Shawn Greene and husband, Mark, all of Eunice; grandson, Asher Robinson; as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Chapman; brother in-law, Jeffery Fruge; and niece, Gracie Zaunbrecher.
