John Lejeune

EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of John B. Lejeune announces his passing on Saturday, December 05, 2020 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 87. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 09, 2020 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Hampton Davis officiating.

John was a farmer and he served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and Woodman of the World. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his siblings, James B. Lejeune and wife, Beulah of Scott, Jane Lejeune Vidrine and husband, Perry of Eunice and Garrett W. Lejeune and wife, Karen of Baton Rouge; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Aluse and Myra Duplechain Lejeune.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, December 9th from 10:00 am until time of services.
