Kevin Picou

EUNICE~It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Kevin Jules Picou announces his passing on Friday, December 25, 2020 at the Acadia General Hospital in Crowley. He was 56. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Kevin proudly served his country honorably in the United States Army during Desert Storm.  He worked for Acadia  Parish School Board  as an elementary teacher for pre k through eighth grade. He  loved his students.  Kevin had many talents, he enjoyed  wood working, playing his guitar and transposing music.   He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his son, Timothy Wayne Blaine of Milton, NC; his daughter, Laura Picou; along with his grandson, Gabriel Kai Picou of San Diego, CA. He also leaves behind his sister, Franci Bass of Eunice as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bubba and Mary Picou and a brother, Skip Picou.
