Leonard Vidrine

EUNICE~It is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Leonard "Cop Cop" Vidrine, our loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend to all whose lives he touched on January 14, 2020. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Matthew Hebert Celebrant.

Leonard, or "Cop Cop" as he was called by family and friends, was a Registered Nurse for thirty years. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing and LSU football; but most of all he loved his family and playing with his grandkids. He will be missed by many, but none more than his wonderful wife of thirty nine years, Julie Lyons Vidrine of Eunice; his loving daughters, Kelly Czerwinski and husband, Michael of Lafayette, Terri Vidrine and Courtney Vidrine both of Eunice; his four joys of life his grandkids, Connor and Greta Czerwinski, Preston and Brianna Lopez; his two brothers, Roderick "Pete" Vidrine and wife, Ivy of Lake Charles and Neldon "Cop" Vidrine and wife, Dorothy of Pierre Part; his sister, Wanda Dozart Smith and husband, David of Carencro. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him. We will miss him every day.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Orelie and Doris Manuel Vidrine and his granddaughter, Addilyn "Addi Jo" Czerwinski.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, January 17th from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, January 18th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited by Deacon T.J. Richard at 6:00 pm Friday evening.
