EUNICE~ It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marie Miller Dupre announces her passing on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice with loving family by her side at the age of 71. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating.

Marie worked in security at Coushatta Casino Resort for twenty-two years. She loved being outdoors, crabbing, cutting grass, but most of all, spending her free time with family and her grandchildren. Marie had all of her family spoiled. She was very giving of her time and energy whenever any family member or friend needed help. She will be truly missed by all the lives she has touched. She has left us, but she has left us with so many memories in our home and most of all, in our hearts.  She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-one years, Carol Dupre of Richie; her three children, Scott Miller and wife, Nikki of Basile, Troy Miller and wife, Toni of Eunice and Ashley Sonnier of Iota; her grandchildren, Nick, Alexis and Madison Miller, Cain and Callie Miller and Hunter and Reid Sonnier; and one great granddaughter, Dani Andrus; her siblings, Harry Miller, Jr and wife, Kay, JoAnn Miller,  Madonna Lee and husband, Kenny and Jacque Miller and wife, Amy all of Eunice; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and  Grace Manuel Miller.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Eunice on Sunday, March 28th from 2:00pm until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, March 29th from 9:00am until time of services. Deacon Chuck Ortego will lead the Rosary at 1:00 pm on Monday.

Pallbearers are Nick Miller, Hunter Sonnier, Cain Miller, Alex Lee, Kenny Lee, Jacque Miller and Reid Sonnier.
