Nolia Ardoin Fruge

EUNICE~ Nolia Ardoin Fruge went to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the age of 94.  A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 01, 2020 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Brent Shoalmire officiating.

Nolia was a homemaker and devoted herself to the love and care of her family. She loved to visit with her neighbors and help them however she could. The life she led was a true testimony to her faith. She was a beloved mother to six daughters, Diana Fruge Lavergne and husband, Glynn of Eunice, Jeannie Fruge Anding and husband, Joe of Opelousas, Theresa Fruge Vidrine and husband, Ronny of Opelousas, Janet Fruge Prudhomme of Lawtell, Jessica Fruge Vasseur of Opelousas, and Angie Fruge Thibodeaux and husband, Kevin of Prairie Rhonde; brother, Judson Ardoin and wife, Vergie of Eunice; twelve grandchildren, Kurt Lavergne and wife, Melissa, Shannon Lavergne and wife, Karen, Jeanne Lantier and husband, Shad, Paul Anding and wife, Samantha, Brian Vidrine and wife, Melissa, Mark Vidrine and wife, Tabitha, Brannon Prudhomme and wife, Tina, Lance Vasseur, Lainey Martinez and husband, Jed, Laurie Perkins and husband, Nick, Logan Thibodeaux and wife, Abby, and Cort Thibodeaux and wife, Morgan; twenty great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lurnest J. Fruge; parents, Noah and Aline Prejean Ardoin; sister, Mary Lou Johnson Fontenot; and son-in-law, Lucius Vasseur.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, November 01, 2020 from 10:00 am until time of services.
