Paul "Glenn" Courville

BASILE- It is with heavy hearts that the family of Paul “Glenn” Courville, Sr. announces his passing on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age 67. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 24, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Basile. Burial will follow in the Basile Protestant Cemetery with Pastor Terry Hoychick officiating.

Paul, known as ‘Glenn’ by all, was a veteran of the United States Army where he proudly served his country between 1970 and 1976. He loved all animals, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Glenn especially enjoyed spending time with his father at the camp and always had a very special place in his heart for his grand babies. He will by missed dearly by all who knew and loved him, especially by his father, Moise Courville of Basile; his sons, Kevin Courville of Basile, Paul Courville and wife, Brittany of Port Barre, and Brandon Courville of Basile; his daughters, Alicia Fruge of Youngsville, and Erica Francois and husband, Gabriel of Eunice; brothers, Randy Courville and wife, Brenda of Jena, and Steve Courville and wife, Georgie of Basile; sisters, Patricia Cart and husband, Douglas of Eunice, Jacqueline Kaye McGee and husband, Jamie of Basile, and Monica Courville of Basile; eight grandchildren, Ryan Langley, Susanna Courville, Connor Courville, Ava Courville, Wesley Fruge, Ethan Fruge, Mary Ella Courville, and Wyatt Courville; as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son, Paul Glenn Courville, Jr.; his mother, Verdie Courville; and grandson, Mickey Wayne Courville.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile on Sunday, February 23rd from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm and again on Monday, February 24th from 8:00 am until time of services.

Pallbearers carrying Glenn to his final resting place will be Matt Courville, Aaron Cart, Daniel Courville, John McCrory, Damien Rodgers, and Chad Faul. Honorary pallbearers are Connor Courville, Wesley Fruge, and Wyatt Courville.
