Phillip James Troha

EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Phillip James Troha announces his passing on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at the Jennings American Legion Hospital at the age of 72. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice with Minister Chantelle Comeaux officiating.

Phillip enjoyed his life, especially fishing, gardening, and his animals. He loved his dogs and raised chickens and rabbits, and had turtles and ducks. He will be missed by all, especially his son, Derek Troha of Phoenix City, AL; daughters, Tammy Guidry of Houma, and Shelly Pousson; brothers, Robert Troha of Lafayette, and Joseph Troha and wife, Neneth of Basile; sister, Melisa Troha of Kinder; four grandchildren, Trinity Guidry, Catera Troha, Dylan Stafford, and Ashley Troha; one great grandchild on the way; as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jessie Troha; infant son, Christopher James Troha Mullis; sister, Jessica Troha; parents, Jesse and Mazie Fruge Troha; and his life-long partner, Ruby Godeaux.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, July 7th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
