Toby Jenkins

EUNICE~The family announces with deepest sorrow and heavy hearts the sudden death of a loving father, son, brother, grandson and friend, Toby Paul Jenkins at the age of 40.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Sensat, Celebrant.

Toby loved cooking , sports especially the Saints, but most of all he loved his family and loved spending time with his children. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind his two children, Adaleigh Grace Jenkins and Christian Michael Jenkins; his mother, Linda J. Bourgeois and step-father, Jonathon Bourgeois of Eunice;  his siblings, Gina B. Daire and husband, Jason of Eunice, Mea Bourgeois of Eunice, Jody Bourgeois and wife, Katie of Iota and Kadi Bourgeois and her companion, Javier Herrera of Lafayette; his grandmother, Carrie LeJeune; his girlfriend, Lacy Miller of Eunice; as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph C. Fontenot,  his grandfather, Gilton LeJeune and his great grandparents, Tobere and Eda Marcantel Courville.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, April 23rd from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, April 24th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm on Friday.
